Optimal adult oral health begins with optimal childhood oral health. Don’t overlook the importance of keeping the pediatric teeth healthy. Dr. Pinner and his staff will do their best to make sure your child gets a positive start at their first dental visits. Dr. Pinner has children—he understands the challenges you’re facing. We want to do all we can to keep the baby teeth healthy. They’re so important for many reasons. They help your little one eat solid and nutritious foods. They help your child learn to speak clearly. And they hold the proper spacing to allow the permanent teeth to erupt in the proper places. Premature loss of primary teeth can lead to many costly problems down the road such as jaw problems and orthodontic therapy.
We believe the best way to treat cavities and tooth decay is to prevent them in the first place. Nowhere is this more apparent than with kids. If a problem does arise, Dr. Pinner will work with you and your child in a calm, playful manner. Dr. Pinner secretly loves Paw Patrol too. (Shout out to Rubble!) We want to make sure your child enjoys visiting the dentist. We’ll even schedule an acclimation visit where your child can come meet out team, tour our office, and see a treatment room. Spending that little bit of extra time is how we can ensure your child is ready for his or her big day.
We offer pediatric cleanings, exams, fluoride, sealants, fillings, crowns, and more. Falls and accidents are too common in childhood. Sports injuries happen too. Dr. Pinner spent his whole childhood on a field, diamond, or court. He has a special care for sports injuries, and he will even come in after hours for emergency appointments if needed. Dr. Pinner and his staff are prepared to assess, treat, and monitor such incidents to minimize the possibility of long-term damage. We hope you never need such care. But if you do, we’re trained, prepared, and ready to help.
As a parent, you play a very important role in fostering your child’s oral health. Dr. Pinner and his staff will work hard to educate you and provide all the necessary tips and techniques to help your child have terrific oral health for life. We will work hard to make you child’s dental visit a positive and fun experience!
