During your cleaning appointment, we will take the needed x-rays to visualize the many impossible-to-see areas of your mouth and teeth. These x-rays provide valuable information about your teeth, jaws, head, neck, and more. They can help us view growth patterns, tooth eruption patterns, dental decay, pathology, and more. We have the latest 3D imaging technology and digital intraoral x-ray equipment.
During our periodic exams, Dr. Pinner is very thorough as he completes a proper head, neck, extraoral, and intraoral exam. He also completes an oral cancer screening exam at each checkup. He understands and highly values early detection, so he refuses to rush this part of the visit. He will then inspect each tooth. If something is abnormal, he will discuss options with you.
