Small things like cancer screenings at each periodic exam take us a little extra time; however, we feel these practices are necessary to taking care of our patients. We offer the latest 3D imaging and digital x-ray technology. We don’t strive to be the busiest dentist in town. We like to take time to get to know our patients. We want to answer your questions and make sure you’re totally informed about the whole process. We feel the best way to treat cavities and decay is to prevent them in the first place! However, if these issues arise, you can feel secure that Dr. Pinner and his staff are trained in the latest techniques to make your smile picture perfect again. One place Dr. Pinner strives to be different is time with you. While we do keep a busy schedule, we never want you to feel rushed at your checkup. All-too-often, the dentist completes the checkup exam in a furious hurry. Not Dr. Pinner. He takes time to speak and hear about your life. He prides himself on treating the whole patient. He always completes a proper head, neck, extraoral (jaw, lymph nodes, etc.), and intraoral (tongue, floor of the mouth, cheeks, palate, throat, etc.) exam. He completes an oral cancer screening exam at each checkup too. He lost his mother to breast cancer, and he takes early detection very seriously.
Dr. Pinner loves taking time to discuss treatment plan options with patients too. In dentistry, there are often several accepted methods to treat the same problem. Dr. Pinner wants to partner with you in treatment planning. He wants to find (together with your assistance) the best treatment for your needs, your expectations, your timeline, and your budget.
